Poseidon Apartments

Nina was so kind and made sure we had what we needed. There was water and a bowl of fruit waiting when we arrived, and she let us keep the room until 9pm on departure day, which gave us an extra day. We had a wonderful four-night stay. The apartment was immaculately clean, had good air conditioning, and had everything we needed. Great location, right among everything Agios Gordios has to offer and just a five-minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend x

We visited the pool and bar on two different days but didn't stay at the property. It's a lovely, quiet spot with plenty of sun loungers and food at reasonable prices. Non-guests are expected to spend 10 euros per adult, which was fine with us. On our first visit we spent about 25 each. The way the owners treated us was a different matter. They seemed irritated whenever we asked for food or drinks. I found them among the rudest people I've met in Greece. At 10.30 am I asked for a continental breakfast listed on their menu, and they sighed, threw their arms up, and spoke to me like I was something they'd scraped off their shoe. I don't know why. I was there to spend money, but they seemed deeply offended by that. I speak fluent Greek, though I didn't tell them. I heard them moaning and whining about customers. We're quiet, well-behaved people, and we weren't asking for anything unusual. If they offer food and drinks, they should show customers basic respect when they order something on the menu. Otherwise, they shouldn't offer those things. We won't be back.

Nina, one of the owners, was lovely and always ready to help. Our ten-night stay at Poseidon apartments was great, and the place is only a few minutes' walk from the beach. The rooms had everything we needed, the pool was a good size for the area, and the beds were very comfortable. The mattresses looked fairly new and medium firm, though that's just my guess. Air conditioning is now included in the price, and the wifi worked fine for me. A hidden gem!

A nice place with comfy rooms, a great pool and an outdoor bar, plus very nice staff. I can only give it four stars, though. The air conditioning costs about 7€ per day, and you can't flush paper down the toilet. That's not the hotel's fault, but it's still a downside. Otherwise, very nice.
