Ionian Green

Aris deserves a special mention. He made wonderful breakfasts every day, knows the local area and restaurants well, and really means it when he says nothing is too much trouble. He goes out of his way to make sure the stay runs smoothly. The villa sits just yards from the sea, looking across to Corfu, Paxos, and Antipaxoi, and it’s beautiful inside and out. The pool is large and beautifully shaped, with a shallow paddling area for kids and a depth where adults can always stand. Hidden outdoor speakers let you stream your own music. The seating in the grounds is arranged for those breathtaking sunsets over Corfu, and private access to the villa’s beach makes paddle boarding easy.

The hosts were fabulous, making beautiful breakfasts every day and always ready with good ideas for activities, day trips, and restaurants. The villa was spacious, with a layout that gave each group its own privacy, and the big pool had very comfortable furniture around it. We loved looking for shells and taking paddle board trips from the quasi private beach. Drinks at sunset under the pine, with the sea view, were hard to beat. The kids and adults were thrilled to spot wild boar and tortoises on the track to the villa, though the navigation instructions had warned us about wildlife. In the nearby village, we found a couple of fantastic restaurants that also did take out, including Crabs in Perdika. Just back from a stunning week at Ionian Green, and we hope to return to this beautiful spot.

Aris was a gracious host who went out of his way to make everything easy, starting each morning with a delicious breakfast made from local ingredients. The villa’s indoor spaces are beautifully appointed and air-conditioned, but we spent much of our time outside, where the large pool, comfy sunbeds, parasols, seating, and al fresco kitchen really shine. There’s direct access to the beach too. Set above the turquoise Ionian Sea, it has glorious views towards Paxos, Antipaxos, and Corfu. A wonderful place to share with family and friends. We’ll definitely return.

Aris has thought of everything guests might need and is a perfect host. With direct sea access and paddle boards ready to use, this was our favourite Greek villa so far. Fantastic property in an idyllic spot overlooking the sea.
