Manoulas Beach Mykonos Resort

Our first accommodation cancelled at very short notice, so we booked this place at the last minute. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and immediately felt welcome and safe. It seemed to be a family-run business, with plenty of staff and information provided. We barely left the pool area. When we did, it was just a short two-minute walk to the beautiful beach. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, safe stay in the most beautiful part of the island!

The pool was nice for relaxing, though I wish they had umbrellas for anyone wanting shade. Our room looked nice, but the floors hadn't been cleaned, and there were a few ants inside. I got rid of them pretty easily. Staff were friendly and gave us lots of tips on places to go. Breakfast was disappointing for me: the buffet wasn't kept stocked, so we had to wait for food. The hotel restaurant closes at 4:45. A bus into town costs 2 euro and comes every 15 minutes, but the return trip can be confusing, so make sure you board the right bus back to the hotel.

I'd dreamed for more than 30 years of staying here because it's where Shirley Valentine was filmed. The staff were the nicest people, and a real credit to the owners. They went out of their way to make the visit special. The hotel and its location were perfect, and the rooms were immaculate. I believe it can accommodate up to 150 people. Thank you all for making my stay so lovely.

We stayed in the last week of June. Dimitri was lovely and helpful with the hotel's transportation, showed us around, and guided us at the airport. The bus stop is close, but in the heat a 25-minute wait feels endless, so we ended up taking a cab each time. The hotel should stop guests from reserving pool beds with their belongings for half a day, leaving nobody else able to use them. Some beds had holes for covers, but no covers were provided, and not everyone wants a tan. The rooms were fine, though the walls are thin, as someone else mentioned. I didn't see any kids while we were there. The bar food was fine, and we ate at the restaurant at the base of the hotel.
