We loved the setting of Paradise Beach 1, the villa on the right when viewed from the beach. It sits above the shore, and the infinity pool blends into the sea behind it. The garden is well kept, there’s direct beach access, and the sun reaches the villa all day. Multiple seating areas make it easy to change where you relax. The pool is a good size, and the outdoor shower is handy after the beach. Watersports, including jet skis, Ringos and sofas, are available on the beach. The electric driveway gate worked every time, with its controller on the house keys. Inside, the place feels very modern and spacious. There’s parking for two or three cars once you drive through the electric gates. All three bedrooms are roomy with sea views. The master and second bedrooms have large balconies with chairs overlooking the garden, pool and sea, lovely for an end-of-day drink. The third has a small side-facing sea view balcony, without room for chairs. Wardrobes and hangers are plentiful. The bathrooms are a bit narrow and less spacious, though still a good size. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, with a filter coffee machine, toaster and sandwich maker. The large barbecue has enough cooking space for eight people. The management company responds quickly on WhatsApp if questions or problems come up. A few things could be better. The top floor shower leaks into the first floor shower, which is unpleasant for anyone using that bathroom. The first-floor window was broken and wouldn’t open, so that room got hot and stuffy. We reported it on day one; the caretaker came by to try opening it but couldn’t, and nobody returned afterward. The kitchen back door doesn’t close securely, so we lowered the shutter when going out and in the evenings for extra security. We stayed two weeks and had just one mid-stay clean and towel and sheet change. I didn’t need extra cleaning, but changing the linens every 3-4 days would be a nice touch. There are steps and hard floors, so I don’t think it’s suitable for young children or elderly people. The TV is large and has BBC news in English. There’s also a DVD player, but bring your own DVDs, and a mini stereo that needs CDs or music on a USB stick. Despite those couple of issues, it’s an amazing villa and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Highly recommended.

The location is stunning and felt safe, between a resort-style hotel and the beach. I loved waking to sea views and hearing the waves at night. The infinity pool has an incredible outlook; I watched the sunrise over the ocean on four mornings. There’s an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach, and several seating areas with different kinds of chairs. The sun reaches the villa all day, so there’s always somewhere in the sun from dawn to dusk. The electric gate worked every time, and its controller was on the house keys. With a few fixes, we’d gladly return. The villa has all the basics, including showers, microwave, oven, washing machine, clothes airers and hairdryer, but it’s starting to show its age. One sun lounger is broken, the upstairs shower leaks into the one below, and the showers could do with new heads and holders. The ground-floor shower door leaks too. Water pressure was mostly low and varied, though we managed. The washing machine was in Greek, so we downloaded the English manual from the internet. WiFi was added with a booster upstairs, but its connection was also unreliable.

We’ve just come back from a 14 day holiday here. The villa, pool and beach were all great, and very welcome in 40deg heat. The local agent and manager provided excellent support, including help getting out of the villa during the wildfire evacuation. With the power out, we thought we might have to ram the private access gate. We hope to return sometime.

A fantastic beachfront villa, with a great private pool right by the sand and spacious living areas spread over three floors. The location also works well for visiting Lindos and Kiotari.

The villa is beautiful, with really comfortable beds and a pool that gets sunshine all day. Being right on the beach is great for snorkeling in the clear water, and you can hire jet skis and boats just below the garden.
