Tohu Villas Mykonos

The villa looks beautiful as a house, but our stay was nearly spoiled. We were there for a birthday holiday with 12 guests, and it took seven hours after arrival for us to settle in. We couldn’t play music because staff kept complaining. The surroundings and the old building felt unfriendly, and the cleaners and shuttle drivers were rude and unpleasant. Cleaners came every day but did a poor job, seeming unhappy that rooms, toilets, and other areas were being used. We didn’t get a single check-in from management to ask how things were going, despite the stress they caused our group. There were daily threats to lock us out if we didn’t pay what they demanded. The shuttle was supposed to be included, as at other hotels, but drivers charged 45-50 euros for each nine-minute trip into town. The pool and jacuzzi weren’t cleaned properly or daily. Breakfast was salty and unchanged for all six days, though the chef was nicer. The drainage around the property was also poor. Staff didn’t smile or respond when spoken to, and it wasn’t a language barrier. Wi-Fi was weak, and there weren’t enough toilet rolls. We’d already booked, so we had to make the best of the holiday with no other choice. I wouldn’t recommend Tohu villa.

We had a great time at these villas for a hen do with 11 girls. The staff were fantastic and helped with everything, from lighting the BBQ to doing supermarket runs and driving us around. The location is stunning, with views of the sea in every direction. I’d definitely come back.

The design is beautiful and the views are magnificent, absolutely gorgeous place. The only issues were the poor Wi-Fi and really bad showers.

Panda, the manager, was extremely helpful. Panda collected us from the airport, took us back there, and showed us around the local area. The villa itself is stunning, with a pool and hot tub maintained daily, and the cleaners came every day too. I’d highly recommend it for a large group.
