The homemade breakfast, with stories shared around the table, gave the stay a real sense of community. This family-run guest house had the warmth of visiting a family's holiday home, and the hosts treated us with so much care. The rooms were cozy with a lovely traditional design. In the mornings, the sound of the local water fountain running through the valley and the crisp air made the peaceful surroundings feel restorative. I had an amazing weekend in this charming little village. It was a real break from the hustle and bustle, and the hospitality was wonderful.

We spent most evenings tucked into our cozy room by the fireplace, enjoying the quiet. The scenery around Mellio's is stunning, and the view from the rooms is breathtaking. Agios Lavrentios is beautiful, with plenty to see and do, and the mountain surrounding it is especially breathtaking in winter. Ms. Mellio made us feel at home the moment we arrived, and she's a wonderful cook too. I'd encourage people to stay in winter as well as summer. Couldn't recommend the place more. Mrs Mellio and her husband Mr Kostas were so kind and polite that it felt like visiting your grandparents in the mountains. The rooms were clean, and breakfast included absolutely delicious handmade pies from Mrs Mellio. We spent the Christmas holidays there and hope to come back soon.

Mellio and Costas treated us like special guests, though we saw they showed the same care to everyone who arrived. The location made for an amazing stay, and Mellio's homemade breakfast each morning was a real culinary treat. She's an excellent cook.
