Nano Oia Canaves

We ended up extending our stay because Shamsher was so quick to answer all our questions and requests, and made us feel so well looked after. The cleanliness, décor, and service at Nano Oia Canaves were all exceptional. A perfect stay, highly recommended!

Our junior villa with outdoor pool had amazing views, and the location was excellent. Breakfast was included, tasted really good, and arrived on time each morning. The room felt a bit small, with very little room for our two large suitcases, but we still enjoyed the two nights we spent there.

We really appreciated the privacy at Nano Oia Canaves. The villa is beside another one, but nobody can see you relaxing in the pool. In other Oia places, villas can be fully exposed to tourists on the main walking path. Our suite also had breathtaking views. We spent 3 nights in the Master Suite. It was spacious and comfortable, with lovely design, a private living area, and a stunning heated pool just for us. The room was cleaned each day, and the pool was carefully maintained every morning. Vasilis was kind and helpful, quick to answer questions, and offered great advice for organizing activities. I’d highly recommend it for a special, private escape in Santorini.

The views from the honeymoon suite’s small balcony were jaw dropping, with great scenery for both sunrise and sunset. Nano Oia Canaves is in an excellent location, and that’s what we liked most about our two day stay. The room was tiny and there was nowhere to store clothes or luggage. With two large suitcases, we kept climbing over the bed or shifting them out of the way just to move around. The fridge also leaked water onto the floor. Breakfast wasn’t worth having. We’d have been better off at Luno cafe up top. On our last day we ordered it for 9:30, but it came at 10:15 and the order was wrong. The last straw was the balcony “spa”. The water was cold, the filter wasn’t working, and it was stagnant, with an oily film from sun cream on top. Its light didn’t work at night. We saw other residents using theirs then, but didn’t get into ours. We raised it with Julian, though by then we were too frustrated to care. We got the photos we wanted and enjoyed the location, but were glad to head to Paros, where the accommodation and service have been far better so far.
