San Lion restaurant is an easy walk, and the staff there were kind and accommodating. There are also a couple of small shops and bakeries close by. We rented the place for 17 of us, with three families of five in separate apartments and another couple in the one-bedroom apartment. There was plenty of room to gather or give the kids space for their different routines. The apartments are spacious, apartment 3 has a fabulous balcony, and the heated pool was perfect.

If you’re looking to get away from the crowds, I’d highly recommend this place. Limionas beach nearby is only suitable for people who are physically fit, so keep that in mind. We stayed for 7 days in the 3 bed jacuzzi unit, and Anastasia was very accommodating. She kindly lent us a beach umbrella and cooler for our outings. The place is fabulous, and really deserves to be called a villa. There’s a brand new pool for the upstairs flats, as well as two private pools.

We were lucky to get this villa at such a great price. With demand pushing the price up by £1000 for the week next season, it still seems like a bargain if you have the right number of people. The grounds are well kept, the views in the morning and evening are lovely, and the BBQ area was a fantastic extra that we made great use of. There’s room for 11 plus, and everything seemed to have been considered for a pleasant stay. The apartments downstairs are to a very good standard, though some upstairs ones could use a little TLC. Small works are still going on, but I’m sure they’ll be finished by next season. Calling it a complex might be a bit much.

The scenery around Alonaki Apartments is beautiful, and the peaceful surroundings made walking there a real relief. The village is a short walk away for essentials. Our new apartment was in excellent condition, with very good air conditioning and a balcony looking out over bush land and the ocean. We were warmly welcomed by the owner. Great value for money and a lovely, unusual place to stay. Thanks for everything, we’ll recommend you to others.

Anastasia was such a lovely, genuine host, always attentive and helpful. She let us check in early and said we could check out any time if needed. She made fresh donuts for breakfast and even organized a BBQ in the garden with her friends and the other guests. It was such a nice evening. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, clean, and had air conditioning in every space along with everything we needed. We loved watching the sunset over the sea from our jacuzzi. The villa is between some of the island’s best rocky beaches, including limnionas, roxa and korakonisi. We loved our stay and already want to come back. I’d recommend it for two couples or a family.
