The rooms had black mold in the bedrooms, the water pressure was terrible, and there wasn’t any entertainment. Food and drinks didn’t have much variety, and the drinks weren’t the best either. There were wasps everywhere and a nest, but the response was basically to leave the birds’ nest alone and deal with it. Our door wouldn’t lock from the inside. Reception said maintenance would come in the morning, but nobody showed up. I wouldn’t recommend it. Other people we spoke to during the holiday said they wouldn’t return either.

We liked the quieter of the two pools, the small, shallow one at the top, and used it most days. The larger pool downstairs was busier, with inflatables and floats. Sunbeds were hard to find for the first day or two, then it got easier. The dining room is small, though we always found a seat. We also appreciated that there were no flies around the hotel. They keep rubbish bins out of sight so they don’t attract them, which seemed like a clever idea. Food was a real highlight, with plenty of choice and meals that tasted fresh. Drinks were more mixed. The non-alcoholic selection included Coke, Coke Light, Lemonade, Lime & Lemonade, Fanta Orange, Fanta Lemon, and cordial. Fanta Orange was especially tasty, though very sugary. Coke tasted a bit like Rola Cola, but was still sweet and refreshing. Cocktails were drinkable if you asked for less alcohol. Otherwise they were poured so strong they tasted more like hand sanitiser. The hotel is about a five-minute walk from the nearest town, with shops, bars, restaurants, and cafés. Entertainment is at the neighbouring hotel, with Aqua Zumba, Pool Olympics, darts, karaoke, bingo, beer pong, table tennis, and other activities. That’s also where most of the children are, so it can get noisy. The bar and reception staff were fantastic. Anna at the bar was especially friendly and hardworking, and the cleaners were respectful and kept our rooms tidy. Our room was clean and standard, though the air conditioning worked without ever cooling it enough. One thing to be aware of is the extreme heat in Zante during wildfire season. We got emergency alerts while we were there and knew other holidaymakers whose trips were cut short. Even so, we had a really lovely holiday. The good food, friendly staff, and relaxed pool atmosphere made it memorable, and we’d happily come back. Yamas! 🍹🇬🇷

We’re a married couple in our 40s and have stayed in plenty of 3, 4, and 5 star hotels around Europe. We were there in August 2025, and found this place small and friendly. I’d call it 3 star plus, though I’d be rating it down mainly because of its size. The food was fine, although a few dishes were too salty for me, so I just picked something else. The staff were friendly, everywhere was clean, and the maids cleaned our room and changed the towels every day. If you run out of soap or toilet roll, just ask reception. A small hill leads up to the hotel. You can walk up or down if you don’t have health issues, but I wouldn’t recommend pushing a disabled person along it. The hotel is on two levels, so our room at the top meant taking two different lifts or walking up steep stairs. As long as the lift works, you’re okay. There are two small pools and sunbeds. Unless you’re up before 8am to put a towel down, you might struggle to get a bed, as happens at lots of 3 or 4 star hotels. It’s all as shown in the pictures before you book. The beer situation was the one thing that bothered me. In the afternoon it would stop being served or run out quickly. Staff told me to come back in two hours, so I don’t know if that was planned, a pump problem, or just running out. You could still get rum and coke or a cocktail in small cups, but beer was difficult. If you want to drink beer all day, this probably isn’t for you. I’d recommend it to couples who want an all-inclusive base during the day and plan to eat outside at night. There are loads of nice restaurants and bars nearby. We do that wherever we go, even at star hotels, to break up the day. It’s nothing against the hotel food. There were lots of homeless cats and one or two dogs in town, which you expect on Greek islands, but it’s still not nice if you love animals. Hope this helps.

We booked this as a group of friends for the location and price, and I don’t think we could have found better value. The hotel is fairly modern and clean. Suzanne, the manager, was very friendly and helpful, as were all the other staff we met. The bar team were generous and the drinks were good. It’s an adult-only place, about a five-minute walk from the main strip in Tsivili and a 20-minute ride from the airport. Tsivili beach is around 15 minutes away on foot. Families with younger kids may not enjoy it, since there are no slides, paddling pools, and similar facilities. The pools and loungers are in quite small areas, so I imagine they get busy in peak season. Food choice was fairly limited, but we ate out most nights anyway. There were plenty of nice bars and tavernas a short walk away.

Joulian in the restaurant deserves a mention. He worked hard, kept the place spotless by clearing up right after us, and made sure we had what we needed. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived for our family holiday at Tesoro Hotel. The pool was clean and well maintained, and we made good use of the facilities and unlimited poolside drinks. It was difficult to find a sun lounger later in the day, since many elderly guests got up early to claim one and stayed there all day. Our room was very clean and had A/C, which was a lifesaver in the heat. There was one delay getting it cleaned, but that was eventually sorted. We had a relaxing, enjoyable stay and would definitely return.
