The staff really made this place for me. Everyone was smiling, helpful and easy to talk to, and they made sure we didn't have to worry about anything on vacation. The breakfast lady was especially lovely, sociable and attentive, and the bar lady was just as cheerful and friendly. Breakfast was included, plentiful and had lots of options for everyone. I wanted to give 4 stars, but for the nice staff I'm giving 5. The rooms are decent, but the beds are a downside. They're not single beds, they squeak and move around too much, which gets annoying when you're trying to sleep. Apart from that, the room is fine, nothing special. Wi-Fi is another issue. It only really works near the pool or restaurant, and the signal in the rooms is so poor it's almost unusable. That made it impossible to work or do anything needing stable internet. Better coverage throughout the hotel would help a lot.

The food was amazing, and every meal was a pleasure. Another gentleman served us too, though sadly we forgot his name, and he was just as warm and sweet. Everything was so clean, the pool was always perfect for relaxing, and the man handing out pool mats was kind and helpful every day. What we'll remember most is Anna and Christina at the pool bar and restaurant. They looked after us so warmly, almost like family, with so many smiles and thoughtful little gestures. Saying goodbye was hard, they really touched our hearts. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly nice and made us feel welcome and cared for. We'd return anytime, but only if Anna and Christina are still there, without them it wouldn't be the same. Thank you for such a beautiful, unforgettable time! 💙

We were happy to walk the 5 or 10 minutes to the main resort area and the 20 minutes to the beach, though there's also a shuttle bus. The place was very clean, with a lovely pool area and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was an excellent buffet with plenty of choice.

Nothing was too much trouble for anyone, from the pool boy and room staff to the wait staff and owners. Such a lovely hotel and place, and we will rebook. If you're going, send our love to Anna from Lainy. Our room was large and lovely, with a balcony, though it could use more drawers and surfaces for creams, lotions, makeup, medicines and all that. When I mentioned it, bless them, they brought up a chest for us. Restaurants and bars are about a 10-minute walk, so it may not suit you if you don't fancy that. A bus also takes you to the beach free of charge three different times a day, with a free return.

Spiros, the manager, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The receptionist was always kind and helpful, and every staff member we met was friendly and professional. The team made the stay feel like home. Sunrise Zante is clean, comfortable and well worth the price. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again. If you're looking for warm hospitality, good service and good value in Zakynthos, I recommend it.
