When we arrived, an enormous wildfire was burning about 10km from the accommodation. There was intense heat, around 50 degrees, the smell of burning vegetation and huge clouds of smoke over the property. Even inside, the old air conditioning couldn’t keep up. The first attached photo is from the apartment entrance, and you can clearly see the smoke blowing towards us. Other tourists said ash was falling on the nearby beach the next morning. I don’t know how that isn’t a health hazard. The property is isolated, one of only a few houses on that side of the island, with a single access road. We were worried there’d be no way to evacuate if the fire spread. We messaged the property several times to ask whether it was safe to come, and each time they told us the area wasn’t affected at all. They lied. Later, after we’d gone to dinner in another part of the island, we couldn’t return because roads had been closed. Local authorities told us to turn around and find somewhere else to stay. The property showed no concern for our safety and was focused on getting our money. They refused any refund or compensation. Be careful booking here. I’d give zero stars if I could.

Georgia and her family are so kind and took care of us during our stay. The apartment is modern and nicely decorated, with no neighbours, a wonderful sea and sunset view, and a private beach. The restaurant had very good food and cocktails. Amazing place.

The views were spectacular, with unforgettable sunsets and an incredible starry sky. It’s completely quiet after 10 pm, as this is the only apartment, and it’s ideal if you’re after relaxation and nature. The three-room apartment above the Ionion restaurant is spacious, very clean and equipped for even a long stay. The road there is winding, so you need a car, but you’re close to one of the most beautiful places in Zakynthos, Porto Limnionas.

The owners are great and always ready to help, and the apartment is bright, spacious and equipped with everything you need. The location is fabulous. You can walk to the sea at Porto Roxa and swim almost alone in a beautiful bay, early in the morning or late in the evening. There’s a restaurant next door for meals, and a nearby bar if you just want to lie back and relax. We had a perfect holiday in a beautiful place. I’ll definitely return, thank you.

The apartment complex is very well looked after, and the setting is fantastic, with breathtaking sunsets. We really appreciated how quiet it was in the evenings and mornings. We also ate excellent food at the attached taverna, especially the octopus.
