Olive Tree Hotel

The staff were nice, the breakfasts great and the location beautiful, but we were supposed to get two bedrooms and a kitchen for four people. Instead, they gave us a one-bedroom apartment for three with no kitchen. They said they’d move us to the promised room after four days, but that never happened. The air conditioner didn’t work either. There are four parking spaces at 10€ per day, with no guarantee someone else won’t park there. The manager seems to have a lot of confusion at work, as other customers had problems too.

The staff were always kind and ready to help, and the rooms were cleaned daily following the Covid protocols. Breakfast was different each day and felt like being at home. The location was perfect too. I was surprised by how good it was for a 2 star hotel, and thought it offered good value for the money. I really can’t understand the spoiled people leaving bad ratings. This place deserves better reviews, and I’d like to return.

The staff were professional and the service surprised me. We were welcomed warmly and got support whenever we asked. The hotel is quite large, with lots of rooms. Ours was very clean, with bed sheets changed and the room cleaned every day. I’ve stayed in many 5 star hotels and haven’t seen that kind of dedication there. Every room has a large balcony for relaxing after a tiring day at the beach. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices, and when we usually came down around 9:30 the tables were full of food. There’s a lot close to the hotel, including supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the beach. We stayed five nights without renting a car, walking or taking the bus to nearby beaches, though it’s worth visiting other beaches too. The small hotel is right in the town center, and our okay room had a lovely view from its balcony. Wifi, bed and bathroom were all okay. The receptionist was very kind, though she didn’t speak English. Breakfast was good, but food refills were slow, and sometimes we’d finished eating before seeing the extra options.
