The sea view when I stepped out of my room was breathtaking, and the hotel is right at the water’s edge in a wonderfully peaceful spot. My spacious room had a good-sized kitchen and dining area, a twin bedroom with lots of storage and a safe, plus a roomy bathroom. I stayed for three days and loved this little place. Polydoros has a snack bar for simple breakfasts, snacks, beer and other drinks, while excellent restaurants are only a few minutes away on foot. There’s a small car park just to the right as you come down the short ramp. The owner clearly puts a lot of heart into the hotel. I’d happily recommend it for a solo trip, a couple, or a family.

We came across this place by chance and wished we’d found it sooner. The location’s great, the music is subtle, and the service comes with a smile. I even went for a swim in the sea. What more could you want?

We liked the easygoing, basic service and the low price, even though the wifi came and went. It was just right for my wife and me. We booked three days and ended up staying for the rest of our time there. The staff were so friendly that it felt like visiting family. You’re right beside a sandy beach, with a terrace that goes straight out to the sea, and close to restaurants, bars and shops. It’s a quiet, secluded spot in Crete without feeling far from town. We loved it. Thanks so much for a perfect stay, you were all great!

You can also stay here in a lovely, cool room with a sea view. The coffee and food are great, and the staff and owner are always smiling, making the place feel like a family. It sits just above the sea, a lovely place to be in Agios nikolaos Crete.
