Kitro Beach Hοtel

The location made it easy to get around, with the beach, marina, restaurants, supermarkets, day-trip and boat-trip operators, a local bus, and a touring train all close by. My room faced the beach, so I fell asleep and woke to the sound of the waves. Breakfast had enough variety, and the sea view was a lovely way to start the day. I arrived just before 3am after a late flight and transfer, and the man who stayed up to greet me was warm and welcoming. The staff were kind and very helpful. The owner gave me useful advice about places to eat and getting around, and I’m grateful to her, her family, and the team for making a solo traveler feel so at home. My only downside was the transfer, which took well over an hour in the early morning when I just wanted to get to bed. If you can, I’d suggest arranging a private one, especially if a few people can split the cost. This was my first visit to Crete and Greece, and Kitro Beach Hotel left me with memories I’ll always treasure. It’s a beautiful little hotel for a relaxing stay, and I’d happily recommend it.
