Triopetra View 2

The view of the mountains and sea is beautiful and impressive, and the place is usually wonderfully quiet, though that depends on the other guests. We stayed at Triopetra View 4 in August and were warmly welcomed with delicious oranges, then shown to a very clean apartment. The furnishings are basic and standard, but adequate. The washing machine is handy, though there isn't much room to hang clothes. With four people and three suitcases, we had far too little storage for clothes, so the children ended up using their suitcases. Another chest of drawers would help. There's no shade at all by the pool. Umbrellas probably wouldn't work either, as the wind was often strong, and in the afternoons it was usually too windy for us to sit outside. I'd only return as a couple. You'll need a car, and it's best to shop near the airport. The nearest mini-market seems to be in Agios Pavlos, but prices there are also mini-market prices.

The setting is idyllic, with views over both sea and mountains, and the host is lovely. The accommodation was great, very clean, and had everything we needed inside. We had a great stay and would come back here on a future holiday in Crete! 😍

Giannis was always reachable and quick to sort things out. He really is an excellent host. We spent 12 wonderful days in cottage no. 3, and the whole complex was very well kept. The pool is a dream, as is the sea view. The house was clean and tidy, and the friendly lady who looks after it is very thorough. It's equipped with what you need, but plan a bulk shop for spices, oil, coffee, and the like before arriving, since the nearest grocery store is about 20 km away. A highchair and crib are available if needed. There's a beautiful beach five minutes away by car, with two good, inexpensive tavernas. We highly recommend it. You'll need a car in Triopetra, and the wind can sometimes get very strong, though that's normal for Crete.

The apartment was tidy and well equipped, and the hosts were very friendly. The complex is well maintained, with a lovely pool and fantastic views. The sea is five minutes away on foot, or two minutes by car. There's free parking inside the complex, which has an electric gate. It was quite windy up there in May. I can't say if summer is more pleasant.
