There are a few tavernas an easy walk away, but the villa itself was such a relaxing place. Tania and her mum, the owners, were incredibly helpful. Tania greeted us, showed us around, and had left wine, olive oil, and fruit for our arrival. Partway through the week they brought cucumbers, tomatoes, and eggs from their garden, and left lemons that had fallen from the tree in the villa garden. We felt we had to buy a bottle of gin to go with them!

We hired a car at the airport and drove about 10 minutes to a lovely sandy beach at nearby Agios Sostis, Laganas. The water there was clear and shallow. From the villa, it's a few minutes' walk to a cafe/bar and shop, and around 10-15 minutes to local tavernas and the sea. My husband and I spent the last week at this peaceful villa in zante. It's beautiful, modern, very clean, with a pretty garden and a lovely private pool. Tania and her Mum were welcoming and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Messaging through booking.com was easy. They left us wine, olive oil, fruit, and biscuits when we arrived, then brought tomatoes, cucumbers, and eggs when they came to clean, at a time that suited us. I'd highly recommend Vardavilla for a peaceful, relaxing stay.

A lovely spot among an ancient olive grove, with a stunning amount of space. The Villa was clean, tidy, well stocked, and regularly cleaned, and Tania was so accommodating. You won’t find a better place in all of Zakynthos ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
