Ammos Apartments

We stayed in the vrisaki bungalow and had everything we needed, including cleaning service. The large terrace and garden had a lovely sea view and lots of spots to relax. With the neighboring houses across the road, we also had plenty of privacy. The sandy beach was only about a minute away on foot. The hosts were lovely and helpful. They offered an airport transfer, had a treat ready when we arrived, and baked us a delicious cake halfway through the stay. They also shared contacts and ideas for things to do on the island. We had a wonderful holiday and would be happy to come back.

We stayed at Ammos Apartments in September 2022. Dionysia and her husband were great hosts, always checking that we had what we needed and glad to share advice. The apartment matched the photos, and the terrace had a lovely view that made it a very nice place to spend time. There’s a small, peaceful beach very nearby where you can get away from the crowds. Highly recommended.

We rented the Vrisaki apartment for five days. It felt more like a house than an apartment, with a cozy interior, everything we needed, and a huge private yard overlooking the sea. The water is just a two-minute walk away. The neighborhood was quiet and close to Alykanas town, with lots of restaurants, gift shops, and places to arrange boat tours. Denis and Dionysia were especially thoughtful hosts. Denis drove us to get food when we arrived late on our first night and helped us arrange a rental car. Dionysia stayed in touch and organized our taxi very efficiently despite our unpredictable timing. They welcomed us with fruit, candy, wine, and local olive oil, then gave us a handmade souvenir when we left. We’d definitely return if we visit the island again.

We had a lovely holiday and I’d recommend Ammos Apartments. It’s a two-minute walk to the beach, where the sea is beautiful and safe for children. The apartment was kept spotless, and the owners were very accommodating. They gave us lifts, arranged cheaper taxis, and left fresh eggs and fruit from their land. There are some lovely local places to eat, too.
