Perivoli Rooms

The outdoor seating is a relaxing spot in the evening, though it isn’t private. The rooms have recently been renovated and are roomy and super clean, with a comfy bed, a Nespresso machine and daily refills, big fluffy towels, and daily cleaning if you want it. Agapitos and the team have made a lovely little oasis, with orchard-style gardens that suit the name Perivoli. It’s an easy 10-minute walk to Paroikia old town and the port. There’s a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, and car hire next door, plus three parking spaces across the road that need to be booked and depend on availability. We had a great stay and would come back.

The place was spotless, and everyone was pleasant and helpful. We liked sitting outside on the soft seats, relaxing and looking at the trees. It’s peaceful, and walking into town is easy, with a supermarket almost next door, coffee across the road, and a great bakery just down the road where we got breakfast. The shower was great, though the shower room could be bigger. The toilet paper bin was always in the way, with nowhere else to put it. There was loads of space at the far end of the room, along with the coffee machine and hair dryer.

That balcony was jaw-droppingly beautiful, so calm and serene. The whole hotel has such a peaceful feel that I still smile thinking about it. We spent two months traveling as a family through seven countries and ten cities, and this was probably one of our best stays. The rooms were spacious and had air conditioning, though the bathroom felt cramped even by European standards. The location worked perfectly, just a three-minute walk from the heart of town while still being in a quiet part of it. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. One of the hotel staff, whose name I’ve forgotten, let me contact him on WhatsApp with any questions or requests. He arranged a car for us, though the company he recommended, the closest one to us, was untrustworthy and screwed us over. That wasn’t his fault, and his help meant a lot. He was amazing. It was a lovely experience, and I’d recommend it to friends and stay again in a heartbeat.

Agapitos was a wonderful host, and the rooms were cosy. When we arrived, he pointed out lots of places to see on Paros and helped us find parking on the days we rented a car. Parikia is a great base for getting around the island, and the hotel is just five minutes from the port. There’s also a supermarket, bakery, and pharmacy less than a minute away. We couldn’t have asked for more from our stay.
