Tropical Hotel

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, especially Nadiya, the woman in the restaurant. The hotel is well located near the beach, and the tram makes it easy to get to the centre.

The sea view was stunning, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were really welcoming, and breakfast was simple but satisfying. Good value for money if you're staying near Alimos, and I'd recommend it.

Nadia was especially friendly and accommodating, and the ladies at the restaurant were lovely. I had a wonderful stay and felt well looked after by the staff. I'd love to come back. Cheers 🥰🥰

We were disappointed by the pool. The photos suggested a bigger rooftop pool, but it was tiny, with just two sunbeds. It stayed in the shade and the water was cold, so it felt more decorative than useful. The rooms, on the other hand, were spotless and fresh. We had a proper bed, a well-designed bathroom that worked properly, and a large balcony. Robes and slippers were a nice touch, and everything felt new and clean. Tropical Hotel felt like a real hotel, not apartments converted into rooms, and compared with places we visited in Athens, Santorini and Crete, it stood out as modern, comfortable and well designed. The beach is very close. They also stored our luggage when we arrived early, and we could pay a small fee to have breakfast before check-in, which was convenient. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, but the tables weren't cleared quickly and fresh eggs could be slow to arrive. We were there for two nights and never got to try the banitsa because the small plates were gone as soon as they came out. A little more help from the staff at breakfast would have improved things. The service was excellent and we felt well cared for. With a few improvements to breakfast and the pool, this could be a truly outstanding place to stay near the beach.
