I paid a €250 deposit to reserve a room. When health reasons led me to ask by email about the cancellation terms, they replied only with a copy of the policy from the hotel website. I sent several follow-ups asking whether we could find a compromise, but heard nothing. Eventually I confirmed that I’d keep the booking, yet got no confirmation for two weeks. Then an email told me the reservation was cancelled and I’d need to pay another €280 if I still wanted the room. When I asked why, they said the €250 deposit was forfeited because I had “requested to cancel”. I hadn’t. I’d only asked what the cancellation terms were. I clearly explained that since the deposit hadn’t been refunded, we still intended to use the reservation, but received no reply. When we arrived, the hotel was fully booked. They literally stole €250 from me. Don’t trust this place, avoid it at all costs.

A beautiful house, but badly maintained and missing basic comforts. There was no air conditioning, bathtub, proper shower, or TV in the rooms. The minibar had only wine, and even a bottle of water cost extra. We took the seven-night offer and only later realized it didn’t include daily cleaning. Breakfast was vegan only and cost extra. From early afternoon onward, no staff were around, and we couldn’t even find a glass of water. The parking area was marked by huge stones and so narrow that it seemed easy to damage your car. Very disappointing. If you’re looking for somewhere comfortable and pleasant, avoid it.

The gardens and outside of the building look good, but the room, services, and whole experience were a letdown. There was no Wi-Fi or air conditioning, even though there was a remote in the room. The ceiling fan didn’t work, and the portable fan vibrated against the old, poorly maintained wooden floor so loudly it was hard to stand. There were only a few wall outlets, and the bed was small. A terrible experience.

We spent six days here without a single problem or worry. The place is clean, quiet, and up to international standards, with simple elegance and a special atmosphere. The owner studied at Swiss hotel school. If you want air conditioning, choose the Blue Room (room Nr 4). We loved the vegan breakfast and had it almost every morning. It’s freshly made, with most ingredients coming from the garden, and worth every cent. To get the most out of your stay, you can book e-bikes through Leros Bikes.
