Lovely hospitality, great food, and an amazing owner.

The views are lovely and the setting is beautiful, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay over Easter weekend. The host was kind and helpful, and it made this a great choice for a relaxing family getaway. We’d happily return, highly recommended!

The soundproofing wasn’t great, which seems to be a construction issue rather than the owner’s fault. She knew about it and had earplugs ready, along with things like hand cream, lip balm, toothbrushes and toothpaste in each bathroom. You can tell she cares about her guests and has put thought into making the atmosphere warm. The quiet courtyard and parking area made it easy to enjoy the natural surroundings, and the village was lovely to walk around, with points of interest nearby. Our room at Petrino Lodge was neat and warmly decorated, with an elegant feel and impeccable cleanliness. It smelled musky when we walked in, and every room has a balcony that’s great for morning coffee and the natural scenery. The common areas were well kept, and we had fun with the board games. Breakfast felt homemade, especially the cheese pie and freshly squeezed juice, among other things. I highly recommend it for a break from big city life. Thank you for the experience, we’d like to come back.

The hosts were exceptionally kind and hospitable. They showed so much affection for our two and a half year old, playing with him and making us feel at home. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and breakfast was very generous and high quality. We stayed as a family and had an excellent experience. We highly recommend it and will choose it again.
