Almyrida Residence

Our holiday here with our baby was wonderful. Everyone was kind and helpful, and it felt like a relaxing, comfortable place for a family break. The food was delicious and varied, and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely friendly, polite and professional, creating such a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Almyrida Residence Hotel in Crete, and it's definitely somewhere we'd like to return to.

My friend and I spent 6 nights here, and the rooms were lovely and cleaned every day. The staff were some of the friendliest and most attentive we've ever experienced. Theo at reception was always ready with a joke and helped us with every question or concern. We really liked the hotel and can recommend it to everyone. The hotel is in a small, quiet village and makes a great base for sightseeing in western Crete. The room was cleaned every day by kind, professional staff. There was a wide selection at breakfast, though dinner options were limited. For dinner, I'd recommend nearby Dimitri’s. If you have any questions, ask the helpful receptionist Theo. He's professional and always ready to help, with a good joke thrown in.

We liked the relaxed, casual feel of this hotel in the heart of a lovely little beach town. There are 3 main buildings, with pools available for guests, and lots of tasty places to eat nearby. It's ideal if you want to pop out for lunch or dinner. The hotel pools kept the kids entertained, and there's a small collection of toys and inflatables left by past guests that you can use instead of buying more plastic. Poolside food was good for a snack, and the adults' pool on the top floor was lovely and relaxing. Sunbeds were a bit short, but there were plenty of tables and chairs to put your things down before getting in the pool. The small gym is fine for a focused workout.
