Almyrida is gorgeous from here, and the location meant we didn’t need a car during our stay. It’s right on the main road but far enough away to stay quiet, with shops and other places close by. The rooms are fine for the price. The view isn’t quite what some photos suggest, and seems to depend on which room you get or pay for. Still, we had a good experience and would definitely recommend it.

Elena and Nikos were friendly and really attentive, and the apartment had everything we needed for our week. We especially loved the big balcony, where we could relax and watch life go by. We’d highly recommend staying here, and will be back for sure.

Elena, Nikos, and their kids were so friendly, and made our stay in Almyrida unforgettable. We had great contact with the hosts throughout. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with exceptionally comfortable beds and everything we needed. It’s in the center of Almyrida, close to the beach, shops, and some very good taverns and restaurants. We strongly recommend it and will definitely return. I'd rate it 6/5.

We were there with our two little children, aged 1 and 4, and it worked perfectly for us. The village has beaches, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets, so everything was there for a quiet, relaxing break. Elena and Nikos were so kind. Our flight was delayed and we arrived after midnight, but they waited for us and welcomed us with local products and a cake Elena had made herself. That was outstanding! The apartment was comfortable, central, and convenient, with all the comforts. I really recommend it, and the hosts were amazing. Thanks so much again for everything.

We felt so welcome. The owners were extremely warm and friendly! The apartment was spotless, comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. The kitchen had everything. We didn’t need the AC because opening the windows let in a nice breeze. Towels and bed linen were changed regularly, and toiletries and beach towels were provided too. The beach is only a minute away on foot, and Chania is about a half-hour drive, making it a great base for exploring Crete.
