It’s just a short walk to the port, with a pharmacy, 2 supermarkets and 2 wonderful bakeries close by. The local bus to the old town is five minutes away on foot and is a cheap way to get around. Demetris and his staff are always helpful, smiley and accommodating, and make the holiday extra special. We love this little hôtel and are happy to return for our 3rd year in the Summer of 2025. For a relaxing stay in an amazing location, this is definitely the place for you.

The cleaning lady was brilliant, and the receptionists were kind and helpful. They had some wifi problems because of local storms, but they were amazing about it. Thanks, Gorgona xx. The room was a cute, clean little Greek place, just as I’d hoped, with about everything you could need for a fortnight in a lovely seaside town.

Dimitri is a joy to deal with and so knowledgeable. The rooms are lovely, with a huge bed, and they seem to think of every need. An excellent experience.

Rousoum beach is one of the best spots for snorkelling, and the location is perfect. The staff service was outstanding, with helpful advice and pickups and dropoffs from ferries. There are useful things in the room too, like a fridge and cutlery. It’s a very simple hotel, and some things could be improved, including the shower design, separation from other customers on the balcony, and having fans as an optional alternative to AC.

We had great beds and a pleasant view over the bay at Gorgona hotel, and all in all the stay was great. It was exactly what we needed for our visit to alonisos. We did hear some noises when flushing the toilet, which worried us a little.
