Kerkyra Blue Hotel & Spa by Louis Hotels

The location was excellent, near the center, with a bus stop right outside for getting around the island. Families with children who enjoy pools may find it especially suitable. There's also a private beach, though I didn't find the sea there especially enjoyable for swimming. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a stunning view. Having coffee on the balcony and taking in the scenery was a highlight. The food was plentiful and varied, with something for everyone.

Kerkyra Blue delivered a memorable holiday for my mother and three aunties, and they loved the Greek entertainment in the evenings. They're Greek Cypriots, used to five-star hotels, and very particular about food, especially Greek food, but they adored the meals here. The service and staff were exemplary, the accommodation standard was fantastic, and the rooms were kept exceptionally clean. I booked the rooms for this special trip and contacted the hotel several times beforehand. They answered my questions straight away, with real courtesy and professionalism. The hotel was exceptional across the board: service, staff, accommodation, cleanliness, food, and location. Thank you, Kerkyra Blue, for giving my wonderful mother and aunties a holiday and memories they'll never forget.

We picked the upper pool by the pavilion and spent the day enjoying the hot and cold snacks there. There’s another pool too, and both have bars. Evenings were fun, with two different acts to choose from each night, one in the main bar and one in the pavilion. The hotel feels spacious and is nicely presented, with a pleasant atmosphere throughout the day. Everyone we met, from reception and the restaurant team to the bar staff and cleaners, was welcoming and polite. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated, and the complimentary minibar was stocked and topped up daily. We didn’t have a bad meal all week. Everything was full of flavour and well cooked. The bus stop is right at the end of the drive, making the short trip to the old town easy. The sea at the Blue Flag beach is shallow and good for snorkelling and seeing different fish. Watch out for sea urchins, though. I stepped on one barefoot and it hurt quite a bit. The shop sells shoes. We got home yesterday after a fantastic week and would definitely stay at Kerkyra Blue Hotel N’ Spa again if we return to Corfu. Thanks to everyone at the Kerykra Blue for making it memorable.

The buffet food was the real standout for me, well above what I’ve had at other hotels in a similar category. After its winter 22/23 refurbishment, everything looked stunning. There are two large adult pools, plenty of free bars, and an entertainment team putting on things through the day and evening. I went in mid Sept 25, when the weather was perfect and there were very few families with children. It’s very close to the airport and Corfu town, if that’s what you’re after. The sea is pleasant enough, though you may find clearer water elsewhere on the island. A superb, top class hotel.
