We booked two nights but left after the first. The mattress was badly worn, with the springs easy to feel, and the place didn’t feel clean: the kitchen curtains were filthy, ashtrays by the pool were full of cigarette butts, and the pool water was dirty with dog prints in it. A stray dog wanders around the property. It seemed sweet, but didn’t look cared for, which made us worry about hygiene. The villa is remote and quiet, which might have been relaxing, but roadworks right outside woke us at 7 a.m. and the drilling went on all day. The hosts hadn’t told us about it. Even if the price is affordable, basic cleanliness and comfort should be there.

We paid 300 euros for two nights, and it felt like a waste. We’d already paid the cleaning fee, but the owner still complained that we left two plates unwashed. After we checked out, she messaged asking for over 200 euros because we had a dog, even though before arrival we’d asked if bringing one was a problem and she said it was fine. She had also told us to keep the dog leashed throughout the stay, despite advertising the place as pet friendly. She then complained about the dog after we left. The owner was on top of us the whole time, almost like a stalker, and provided no water. The fridge was dirty and empty, and she said they didn’t have a mini bar. She didn’t apologize for any of this. The bedroom smelled strongly of mold, and the sheets seemed unwashed and smelled of someone else’s sweat. There was mold in the rooms, and the sofa was sandy and stained from previous guests, with no cover, so the dirt showed clearly on the black fabric. The pool was very dirty and cloudy. I think they may not change the water, just add chemicals until it turns milky. There were cats on the property but no bowls, and the owner wasn’t feeding them. They drank pool water with chemicals, and I bought cat food because they seemed hungry. The stay was terrible, and I wouldn’t go back. Stay away for your own safety. The negative reviews about this place are true. We should sue over this, especially since the owner had the nerve to ask us for compensation.

The place is quiet and away from the touristy areas, and the elevated location gives you a view that goes on for miles. I stayed at this breathtaking estate this month and loved it. Irianna was kind and attentive, and keeps the rooms in great shape. If you’re after a real getaway, this gem is easy to recommend. xxx

The owner refused when we asked to cancel and get either all or at least some of our money back. We’d booked the room for seven nights, and it was dirty from the first day, damaged in several places, and had exposed electrical wires. The air conditioner smelled bad and barely worked, the refrigerator leaked, and the pool was dirty, among other problems. We were away for two days when he used a second key to enter the room and turn off the air conditioning. This was one of my worst experiences, in my own country. We went to the police, and our lawyer will handle things from here.
