La Palma II

Marina was really nice and caring. She speaks German and only a little English, but we could feel her warmth even without a shared language. I imagine German speakers get lots of helpful tips from her and might enjoy the stay even more than we did. Since we had a rental car, she let us park beside the hotel, which was great. Our trip was arranged through Neckermann, so a van took us from the airport to the hotel and back at the end. It was nice not having to worry about transport. We enjoyed our stay. It’s not fancy, but it was tidy and had what we needed. A kettle would have been useful. It’s a good B&B choice if you want to spend your time exploring rather than at the hotel. Our studio had a kitchen with dishes and a fridge, so we could cook. There was a big mirror and plenty of room, and the bedroom was clean. The bathroom was small and had a shower. We were given plenty of towels and toilet paper. They provided soap, but I’m not sure about shampoo or toothpaste, so I’d bring or buy those. The sunny balcony had a clothes rack, which made drying things easy. The internet wasn’t very strong, but it was enough. We didn’t try breakfast. Since we had a car, we bought groceries at a market and cooked to save money. If breakfast interests you, it may be safer to try it for one day first. Room cleaning is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, around 10AM.
