Aspri Villa

The sea isn’t far from this lovely little house, which can sleep up to eight. There’s a wonderful pool to cool off in and a beautiful garden. The neighbors in the nearby houses are friendly German residents.

The hosts, Heidi and Uwe, speak German, English, and Greek, and put a lot of care into making guests feel at home. They share useful ideas for exploring on your own and arrange fantastic excursions at fair prices without being pushy. The Monday sing-along, with Greek, English, and German songs, is a lovely weekly event. The pool is clean, the plants are well cared for, and the few resort rules are explained clearly. The resort is peaceful and beautifully maintained, close to both the sea and town center. It sits in a well-developed tourist area but feels far from mass tourism, with a mountain backdrop and nearby beach. If you want a relaxed southern holiday with friendly people and a family atmosphere, this is a dream spot.

Heidi and Uwe were wonderful hosts. They pointed us to good restaurants, shared plenty of helpful tips, and offered some really lovely excursions. It was a thoroughly successful holiday, and we’d gladly come back.

The best part of our September 2024 stay at Aspri Villa was how much Uwe and Heidi cared for everyone. They welcomed us like family and had great suggestions for activities and restaurants known for their specialties. Their organized outings were something we’d never experienced before. When rain spoiled the weather one day, they spontaneously took us to the mountains where it was dry. Uwe also arranged a trip to Parga for anyone interested, and we went in two cars, like one big Greek family. His guided visit to Nekromanteio was exceptional; on our own, we’d have just seen a pile of old stones. We spent two wonderful weeks there, the three of us in the villa. The complex also has several apartments, a shared pool, and a small bar at its center. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. It’s at the edge of the village, almost next to a nature reserve, so it’s peaceful and easy to head out for walks. There’s plenty of beautiful landscape to explore nearby, and the beach is a five-minute walk away. The villa has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. It’s tastefully furnished with attention to detail, and everything was clean and working perfectly. We were the only new guests, while the others were regulars, but we were warmly welcomed and felt at home straight away. The concept felt like a holiday with an uncle who’s truly happy to have you and wants you to have the best time of your life. Evenings with live music were fantastic, with German, English, and Greek songs performed really well. Hanging out in the bar and chatting about all kinds of things with Uwe, Heidi, and the other guests was very pleasant and welcoming. It’s been our best holiday in Greece so far, just as Uwe says, like being part of the family. We’d love to return and are already looking forward to it.
