On 24.05.2026 at approximately 20:00, I was walking in the village with my small poodle when an aggressive pitbull attacked us. It had no leash and was not under control, which I felt was a clear breach of basic safety rules in a public tourist area. I lifted my dog to protect it, and was scratched on my leg. The dog also bit and damaged my backpack. The attack was direct and unprovoked. People witnessed what happened, including someone working at a nearby shop. The person handling the pitbull denied responsibility, which made the situation worse and left me unable to feel safe. I called Greece's emergency number 112 right away. I was extremely distressed and afraid for my safety. I had prepaid through 30.05.2026, but felt forced to leave the accommodation immediately. This was a serious safety failure in a tourist destination, and I found the area around the property unsafe. The host wasn't there and offered no help or support. I could not continue my stay. The owner provided no refund or support. This was by far the worst experience I've had.

The only good thing was that the place was clean. The booking photos didn't match what we found, and there was no welcome. We had to search for someone to show us the room, even though we'd given our arrival time on booking. The mattress was very hard. There was quite annoying noise at 2 am, then more noise at 8 am as they cleaned the rooms next door. Nobody came into our room to change the bins or leave toilet paper during our stay from Thursday 3:30 pm to Saturday 11:30 am. The balconies were joined, so we had no privacy. To top it off, the owner insisted we leave at 10:00 am even though checkout was 11:30 am, saying they needed to clean. Unacceptable.
