You’ll need a car or scooter here, since there aren’t any shops or restaurants within walking distance. Still, I loved the clean pebble beach, which wasn’t at all busy like Ammoopi, and was great for freediving and snorkeling. It’s a wonderful place if you’re looking for a quiet area to stay, and I highly recommend it.

The studios sit by a beautiful, quiet little beach, right by the sea and surrounded by nature. They were very clean, too. Carl and Margot made us feel completely at ease. Town is easy to reach by car for food or groceries. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The quiet beach is just steps away, and at night we could watch the stars with only the sea and wind in the background. It felt magical. We stayed 9 nights at Fokia Beach Studios at the end of July with our small dog, Simba. Karpathos is a special island, and this place helped make our holiday perfect. It’s away from the chaos but still within easy reach of the capital and beautiful beaches. Our apartment was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, with an equipped kitchenette, a comfortable bed, and a roomy shower. There’s parking, too. Margot and Karl manage the studios thoughtfully and were very kind and helpful. We sincerely thank them. Marta, Marco & Simba 🫶

A great base for exploring the island, with a very quiet setting and a small beach just a few meters away that was always exceptional. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the owners were helpful. Recommended for a relaxing break on this wonderful island.

We had a wonderful stay in room #1. The room was spacious and clean, and had a terrace with a splendid view. Warmly welcomed and attentively looked after, we found it an ideal spot for exploring the island and listening to the sea at night.
