Paralos Lifestyle Beach

The outdoor area was really nice, and I liked the hotel’s friendly feel. It’s small, tidy, and pleasant, with tasty food and enough choice that we could always find something we enjoyed. The rooms were small but fine, and the location near the airport was convenient since we didn’t want a long trip. We went to Paralos Beach with friends, and the place felt like a good four-star hotel. There were lots of cats around the grounds, which were lovely, though they sometimes used the sand as a toilet. The cleaning in the rooms wasn’t very thorough, but that didn’t bother me much since I spent most of my time outside. There were many German guests, and the service seemed geared toward German speakers. The noise was the biggest downside for me. Traffic was constant, and roosters began crowing at 6 a.m. every morning. There’s a small farm with roosters beside the hotel, without a barrier between it and the beach area, so the view from that far corner of the beach isn’t great. I was also surprised by the grounds crew starting to clean around 7 a.m. and often talking loudly. One morning they hosed the area without realizing water could run under the entrance door. I woke to water hitting the door, got up, and found the floor wet, with the whole room flooded.

The staff made the biggest impression on us. Everyone we dealt with, from reception to the dining team, was warm, professional, and attentive, and that made the stay feel personal and welcoming. Our room was stylish, comfortable, and kept immaculate by housekeeping. Paralos Life’s Beach Hotel also has direct access to a pristine beach, with lovely sea views and local attractions nearby. It still felt peaceful and relaxing. Meals were another strong point, with plenty of fresh, high-quality dishes and a nice mix of local and international flavors. There was creativity and care in the food, and we were consistently impressed. The hotel struck us as a well-balanced mix of comfort, elegance, and genuine hospitality. We’d happily recommend it in Crete to anyone looking for a relaxing stay, good service, and quality.

We felt welcome at Paralos Lifestyle from the moment we arrived. The staff, from the help desk to the waiters, were genuinely kind and friendly, always smiling even in the 27°C heat. Everything was clean and well looked after. On our first night, live Greek music made the welcome feel especially warm. It was a lovely beginning to the holiday, and I’ll always remember it. We’d love to return.

The pools were a real highlight, and the beach had plenty of seats. Its bar served food and drinks that were far better than I expected. The rooms were comfortable too. From the welcome drink to leaving, when our transfers were arranged seamlessly, the staff made us feel looked after and couldn’t do enough to help. It’s hard to single everyone out, but Maria at the Beach Bar, George (sous-maître who is well on the way to maître), Stefanos, Korina and Marina deserve a special thank you. Awesome stay, so worth it.
