The location is quiet and makes it easy to drive around the island. The rooms by the sea are spacious and have great views, but they need renovation and a better clean. The beds creaked and the mattresses weren’t comfortable. The toilet needed more thorough daily cleaning, and for our four-night stay we got only four shower gels. The towels were worn out and should be replaced. The room was tidied daily, but needed more attention. The mosquito nets were very difficult to open and close. Breakfast was decent, but there wasn’t much variety.

We were there as a family with three children in July 2025, and I’m going to miss the place. Even with all the rooms occupied, it never felt crowded. There was plenty of space at the beach, and we often had the pool to ourselves. There’s also a pool bar. The room was perfect, cleaned every day, with a beautiful sea view and sunrise in the morning. It had three AC units and a kitchenette, plus parking, a great pool, and a nearby perfect beach. You can get anywhere on the island within 30 minutes by car. Breakfast was the same each day, but had everything you need: eggs, sausages, bacon, cheese, ham, tomatoes, cucumbers, Greek yogurt, cake, bread, and watermelon.

Everyone was very polite, and the owner Spiros was fantastic and really helpful. The hotel sits in a beautiful area with a breathtaking view. Our room was large, well equipped, clean, and cleaned every day. Breakfast was very good, and there was homemade cake. I recommend this wonderful place.

The beach was barely a patch of sand, and the whole stay was a nightmare. We were evicted three days early for supposedly breaking their policies, leaving us to find somewhere new with a toddler and a disabled family member. We were put in a cramped studio instead of the apartment we’d paid for, with no sea view or extra bathrooms. They blamed Booking, but we got no refund, and it felt like a way to pocket extra cash. Breakfast was stale and repetitive, they didn’t refill the small selection, and there weren’t even plates. The water was lukewarm. When I asked for a refill, they reported me to Booking, even though their own staff admitted they didn’t understand English. The rooms were hot, street noise went on all night, and the old AC barely worked. There was nowhere to unpack, and towels could sit on the floor without being replaced. Amarylis Studios? More like Amary-LIE. Avoid this place if you want a real vacation.
