Atlantica Caldera Palace

The location beside the ocean was lovely, and I enjoyed taking photos as the light changed at sunrise and sunset. Stella Village had activities and facilities for guests of all ages, and we had a great holiday there. The ingredients weren’t expensive, but the food was tasty. They served a special broth soup at both lunch and dinner. The cocktails were a highlight: they were made like drinks at a regular bar, not the quick cocktails you get at some all-inclusive hotels. Even after three nights, I hadn’t tried them all, so I’ll have to come back.

The people are what make Stella Village special. Every member of staff was professional, hardworking, and exceptionally kind. The smiling reception staff, attentive restaurant team, and energetic animation crew were all wonderful with the children. We felt warmly looked after in every interaction, and that atmosphere is why we want to return. We spent a fantastic week here with our three children, one of our best family holidays. The hotel is beautiful, the food was consistently delicious with plenty of variety, and the well-kept garden was a pleasure to walk through. The Aqua Park kept the kids entertained all day. We recommend it with all our hearts!

The beach is sandy and only about 50 meters from the hotel entrance, with a free umbrella and sunbed. The waterpark is large and a good choice for children of all ages. The staff were kind and helpful, and each evening there were interesting performances in the amphitheater. Rooms were clean and fairly spacious, and there was a big selection of delicious food. A perfect place to relax, especially with children. I highly recommend it!

We had a great time here as a family of four in early October. The sandy beach was calm and nicely sheltered by sea walls. The restaurant staff were kind and attentive, and the food was generally tasty. The wider hotel team were friendly and helpful too, though it was a shame there wasn’t any quality coffee. The water park was the highlight, with slides for different ages and adventure levels, attentive lifeguards, and stands selling fast food, ice cream, and drinks. We only wished there were a lazy river. Two other small drawbacks were that the room cleaning could have been more thorough and the pools and water park were quite cold in early October because the water isn’t heated. Heating them in the shoulder seasons would be a welcome change.
