Comfort Malievi Apartments

I stayed at this hotel last summer, and I wouldn’t go back. The food was limited and mostly the same each day, though breakfast sometimes had something different. With meals like that, gaining weight on this holiday would be impossible. There were lots of Czech guests, so it was easy to find someone to talk to. The pool is very small and there’s no slide for children. The sea is farther away than advertised and very rocky. Many people went to the sea about 1 km away instead; after a few days we did too, and that sandy beach was really nice. Cleaning was poor, sometimes the room didn’t seem to get cleaned at all. The bathrooms were dirty, some smelled, and some room mattresses had stains of unknown origin. The worst part was a robbery at the hotel affecting about 11 families. Documents, phones, and other belongings were taken. Some items later turned up in bushes and under other neighbors’ towels, but no one knows who did it. Nobody seemed to do much to address it, and the response was that the hotel wasn’t responsible. We only found out at the last minute that something similar had happened 14 days before we arrived. Never again. The rooms have no windows, and ventilation and the safe both cost extra.

We were staying in Mylos apt, so I can’t judge Malievi hotel itself. The five-minute walk to the food wouldn’t have bothered me, but what we got for the all-inclusive price was very different from what I expected. It was limited, with only a couple of drinks included and the rest costing extra. The food was a disaster, with hardly any real choice and the same things throughout the week. The restaurant saved us 🙈 We’d imagined something very different for a holiday costing 30 thousand. It felt like they were giving Czechs on holiday in Greece leftovers that nobody else wanted to eat!!! On the last day, I went to bite into an apple at breakfast and found it was moldy. That was the worst part for me.
