Paralos Venus Suites - Adults Only

Our room was exceptionally clean, with not a speck of dust. The cleaner even changed the covers on the decorative pillows and cleaned carefully between stays. I have allergies, so that made me very happy, especially since I've rarely seen this even in five-star hotels. There were a few small mold spots in the shower, though, so we upgraded to a sea-view room, which was much better. The staff were lovely and accommodating, and most were in good spirits. They sorted out our requests easily. We did notice tension among the staff and wondered if management was putting them under a lot of pressure. They also seemed short-staffed, and I think that should be addressed.

The location was handy, just a short walk from Analipsi Beach, which is beautiful, peaceful and easy to visit whenever you like. The resort itself was gorgeous, and our heated swim-up room was relaxing, stylish and thoughtfully designed. The food was spectacular throughout our stay. The staff made it especially memorable. Emmanuel at the front desk welcomed us, handled check-in smoothly and showed us around the resort and our room. Carolina, Katerina and Bes in the restaurant and bar were friendly and attentive. Julian remembered our favorite drinks by the second night, and Fei made delicious drinks and gave us wonderful service. Mama Maria was a lovely start to every morning at breakfast. She always greeted us with a warm smile and took great care of my husband and me. We also loved meeting Joko, another Filipino visiting Greece far from home. We chatted, shared stories and laughed about missing our homeland. He's one of the sweetest people we've met and made us feel even more at home. After 10 days at Paralos (Adults Only), I'm not sure we'd come back for a longer stay. Three days would probably be my limit. The staff were top-notch and very helpful, especially Maria and Georgios. The hotel is just five minutes from the beach, the rooms have modern furnishings and the pool loungers are excellent, with umbrellas available. Breakfast was adequate, with fresh egg dishes made to order, and there was a wine tasting each week. The pool area looks stylish but is a serious hazard in its layout. Two elderly guests fell during our stay because the steps into the water are easy to miss. Thankfully neither hit their head on the stone paving, but the falls could have caused severe injury or even death. A lifeguard was there each time and did nothing, which made us wonder why one is needed if he won't intervene. Drinks are very expensive, at 6.50 euros for a beer and 11 euros for a cocktail. The rooms also don't have enough surface or storage space for belongings. Over a stay of 10 days or more, we had to spread our things across the sofa, which isn't adequate for a hotel of this quality.

We had a very pleasant, peaceful stay at Paralos Venus Suites. The atmosphere is calm, and we really appreciated not having music around the pools. Our modern room and spacious bathroom with a rain shower were comfortable, and the staff were consistently kind and helpful. The à la carte breakfast with a small buffet was enjoyable, though more healthy options would be welcome. Dinner à la carte was excellent. The rooftop gym has great views, and we used it often, but it didn't open until after 9 a.m., which cut short our chance to work out before breakfast. I understand noise might bother rooms below, but earlier access with quiet rules would be great. The gym was a highlight otherwise. Some sunbeds stayed shaded for much of the day, while the sunny ones were reserved early and left empty. Staff could make unused reserved beds available to others. The TVs are modern but don't have smart features, and hotel policy blocks HDMI, so we couldn't stream on the big screen and had to use a laptop. That was frustrating in 2025. The hotel is stylish and peaceful; a few practical changes would make the stay excellent.
