I came as a solo traveller and felt welcome and safe wherever I went. Lakis is a natural host who goes out of his way to help, always with a smile. Jet2 told me mobility scooters weren’t allowed on the premises, but when I mentioned it, Lakis arranged one for a very good price and made sure it was charged for me. The nearby beach has the usual restaurants, and there are more along the main road in the other direction. The food at all of them is very good and reasonably priced. There are little food and souvenir shops too. The closest one sells fantastic local flavoured honey and fridge magnets made from the owner’s own photos. The service here makes you feel special, instead of like a room number. It was a truly relaxing week, and I’d definitely come back.

Whenever something needed fixing or we had a problem, the owner would say, “No prooblem, don't worry about it,” and sort it out almost straight away. He’s really wholesome and has a great attitude. It’s a clean, calm, charming place to spend a holiday. I recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay and relax.

The owner is friendly and also cooks. We stayed for 8 days and enjoyed it. The hotel is close to the beach and the lively “boulevard,” reached by a narrow, winding road past shops, houses, and hotels and apartments. It’s on a narrow street that the airport bus can’t get down, so you’re dropped at the start and walk a short way with your suitcase to the hotel. It’s not a disaster.
