Iro Suites

Iro Suites was a comfortable haven, with warm Greek hospitality, well-designed rooms equipped with everything we needed, a lovely breakfast, and a spotless pool area. It’s close to Andros' main town, just a five-minute drive or less. I’ll make sure to stay here again on my next visit to the island.

The place is stylish and clean, and the people are friendly. Rooms don’t come with tableware or utensils. It’s a decent option for staying in Chora, though it’s about a 20-minute walk away.

The bridal party recommended this place when we came to Andros for a wedding, and I’m glad they pointed us to Iro. The rooms are simple but lovely, arranged around a beautiful pool with really comfy loungers. The fantastic hosts cooked a great fresh breakfast and made everything easy. They were so nice, nothing felt like too much trouble, and our stay was a lot of fun. Thanks for having us. I’d recommend staying here!

We were here in July 2021, two adults and a toddler, after rescheduling our 2020 trip. Availability was low, but the owners were really nice and accommodating. Our first room was big, and all the rooms had an outdoor terrace with amazing views. The pool and pool bar were great, although the bar only opened from 11 am to 7 pm. That felt a bit odd since we were up early and couldn’t walk anywhere. You really need a car to get around, even for basics from the store. The walk to the city takes 20 minutes and the beach is 30 minutes away, but I wouldn’t recommend either walk in full sun at 40 degrees. The rooms had no smart TV, the windows were very small despite those great views, and the beds were short. I appreciated the homemade breakfast, but missed having coffee. Since the pool bar didn’t open until 11, we had to wait four hours to get a good coffee. Breakfast could also have used vegetables and more fruit, which I expected there to be plenty of in Greece. For Andros, though, the price-quality ratio was great.
