The larger apartment was beautiful and had an incredible view, but my experience with the stay was really disappointing. I booked the smaller studio after being told on the phone it had its own balcony, but the balcony was shared. When I arrived, the owner told me, without any advance notice, that I would spend two nights in the larger apartment and one in the smaller one. I didn't mind the change itself, but I should have been told beforehand. There were problems with cleanliness: the floor was very dusty, there was dust on the bed, and the sugar jar had lots of insects in it. I also heard a constant noise in one bedroom in the evening, probably from a loose door or window upstairs, so I slept in the other bedroom the second night. The owner then asked, rudely and intrusively, if I'd had visitors. I said no, I'd just moved rooms because of the noise, and didn't think it was her business. On the last day, she pressured me to pay an extra half-day rate because I left my suitcase there for a few hours before my boat, even though I'd understood that was allowed. She also insisted I make the payment on the spot, as if she didn't trust me. She was the rudest host I've ever encountered. The bigger apartment is beautiful, but the people managing it really weren't nice.

Mrs. Eleni greeted us so warmly, shared local treats, and told us all about the area. She was an excellent host. Our room had everything we needed, was very tidy, and spotlessly clean. The views over the mountain and sea really take your breath away!
