Micra Anglia Boutique Hotel & Spa

A lovely personal touch started our stay at Micra Anglia, a welcome message with our names and cookies, and ended it with a goodbye hamper containing local liquor and homemade spread. Special thanks to the team and Mr. George for their great service. The cheerful staff kept going out of their way to make us feel at home, which made the stay special. The hotel is right in Chora, so we could explore on foot without a car. They also offer a pickup from Gavrion for an extra charge, and we appreciated the reserved parking and the complimentary spa option included with some packages. The place is small but has what you need for a cozy, memorable visit. Our rooms were elegant yet warm and comfortable, and the atmosphere was charming. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh, homemade, high-quality choices in a lovely setting. Dinner was also very good, with quality food and attentive service. Our stay at Micra Anglia in Andros was wonderful, and we'd happily return.

George has a great sense of humour, and although he says he hates walking, he was happy to tell us plenty about the old paths around Chora. That relaxed, easygoing feel is one of the things we loved about the hotel. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. George and the staff showed us around and offered us homemade lemonade. Our room, breakfast, the team and the location were all just what we hoped for. You’ve built a lovely business, George. Jean and I hope to come back, with my new hat!

Traveling with six people can take some coordinating, but the Micra Anglia team made everything easy. Ioanna, Giergos, Elana, Jason, and George were all so friendly and keen to help. They pointed us toward good local places to eat, beaches, and things to do. We had a fantastic time and I can’t say enough good things about everyone there. I’m looking forward to getting back to Andros.

We hope we can return soon. The people at the Micra Anglia Hotel made such a strong impression almost as soon as we arrived, and five stars barely seem enough. The service was professional but also genuinely caring. Everyone, from reception and breakfast to the beach bar and the restaurant’s outstanding head chef, seemed to take real pride in what they do. The manager was a wonderful host too, attentive and there whenever we needed something.
