Feronia Villas

The beach, a restaurant, and a supermarket were all easy to reach on foot, which made the location really convenient. Inside, the place was clean, roomy, and welcoming, and it actually looked better than it did in the photos. It had enough amenities that we sometimes didn't feel like heading out to see the local attractions. Our stay turned out even better than we expected from the webpage. The host was warm and professional, and ready to help whenever we asked.

We had our privacy, but the owners stayed in touch by messenger, so help was always close by. They welcomed us at check-in, showed us around, and explained useful things like how to use the Jacuzzi and where the shortcut to the nearest convenience store was. Since I was traveling with my one-year-old, they had also arranged a cute, safe cot for him. The villa was practical but had lots of tasteful personal touches. It was a wonderful stay, and I'd definitely come back.

We cooked every day, including on the BBQ, and the villa had all the mod cons we needed. The pool was great for cooling off in the Cretan heat, especially with the privacy of having it to ourselves. It's about a 10-minute walk to the beach, in a lovely, friendly part of Anissaras. The owners were lovely and always around if we needed anything. We had an amazing four-night stay in a beautiful villa, and I couldn't recommend it more.

My friends and I rented both accommodations. The house was really clean and nice, and they came every day to clean the pool and replace the towels. We had a great time, and the service was really good.
