The cottage at Youkali was just right for our week in October. We’d researched which part of the island we wanted to stay in, and we loved the village’s narrow streets and steps, which often led to a hidden gem of a building or a lovely view. The layout of these traditional villages may not suit everyone, but we enjoyed the quiet, relaxed feel, away from the coast. I hope to return one day and would be glad to have Corfu Cottages help us find another lovely place. And if you stay here, say hello to the lovely three-legged cat who visits!

The house is clean and equipped, and the agent from Corfu cottage was nice. Still, there are a lot of uncomfortable steps to reach the front door and even to get to the sleeping area. We also had a power outage. It takes a scooter to get there, so I wouldn’t recommend it for families or older people.

The photos they post are much too bright. When you actually arrive, the place is very dark, and personally I found that bothersome.
