The Brie’s were fantastic. The place itself was nice, though maybe we came in the off season, in September? They hardly seemed to be expecting guests. In the morning there was no coffee, apart from the Nescafé packet in the room.

The local food is full of real Cretan flavor, and the hospitality is excellent. Dalina Mountain Resort is peaceful and beautifully designed, with stunning mountain scenery all around. It’s a lovely place to unwind, be out in nature, and experience village traditions. A cosy, memorable mountain getaway. Highly recommended.

A lovely mountain resort with a beautifully maintained landscape. There are only 10-15 rooms, and it was nice to have an indoor sauna and swimming pool. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, but its cosy, rustic mountain decor was appealing, and the menu looked good.

We had a really good time here, especially in winter during the off season. The rooms are comfortable and very nice, with a pack of wood provided. You can ask for extra wood for 5 euro. The two saunas, one classic and one hammam style, need time to heat up, so it’s better to book ahead. There’s a nice pool to use afterwards, plus massages and wellness treatments. After a sauna, it’s worth heading to a local taverna for Cretan food. I really enjoyed this place 👍

The staff were so kind, and having the taverna right there in the hotel area was great. We ate while listening to the village’s wonderful musicians. It was especially sweet to see tradition being passed along. I’d definitely recommend renting a car, trying the spa, and having the rizogalo for breakfast! I was very happy
