Maria’s serenity homes were just right: clean, spacious and really comfortable. She also left us delicious homemade carrot cake and apricot jam. Highly recommend!
Maria made us feel very welcome, with homemade cake and jam waiting when we arrived. The place is peaceful and beautiful, tucked into the mountains among fruit trees, with lavender and rosemary in the air. I’d happily recommend staying here and exploring Naxos’s nearby mountain towns.
Apeiranthos is still not too touristy, with narrow pedestrian streets paved in marble, and the little cluster of three houses is surrounded by pomegranates, walnuts, pears and grapes that guests can pick. Maria and Manolis manage the place, which opened a year ago. One drawback is its position in a dip, so it misses the late-afternoon sun. The path from the parking area to the houses also has very poor, almost nonexistent lighting. Still, highly recommended. Sue and Richard.
We spent one night here and went to Apeiranthos and Filoti. It’s a lovely, relaxing spot surrounded by nature, while still close to Naxos’s small, beautiful towns.
Such a peaceful, lovely place to stay. Just make sure you’re a good driver for the way in.
