Myconian Utopia Relais & Chateaux

One drawback is the hillside location. There are plenty of stairs and uphill paths, so guests with leg or knee problems might find it hard to get around, even though there are elevators. We were also disappointed by construction debris and abandoned materials in some nearby outdoor areas. For a five-star hotel, we expected the outside spaces to be better maintained. The resort itself is beautiful, with breathtaking views from our room and the pool. Its interiors were elegant and well cared for, and both buffet breakfast and dinner had excellent variety and quality. The staff, especially the service team, were kind, professional, and always helpful. Overall, we had a very nice stay at Myconian Utopia Resort.

The room was spacious and well appointed, with a lovely view and an outdoor Jacuzzi in our "Heavenly Retreat". But during our June 2-6, 2026 stay, Myconian Utopia fell short in ways that mattered. We've been to Myconian properties seven years in a row, and this was our third visit here. It's not what it used to be. My husband and I needed WiFi for work, but over five days it only worked for one. Our anniversary dinner at Panorama, booked six months ahead, was abruptly canceled because of a private hotel buyout, with no adequate notice or resolution. The service was the hardest part. We were often made to feel unwelcome. At the pool one evening, staff scolded my friend for being near a table supposedly reserved for a private event, though he wasn't near it. Later, while we were taking photos, employees made snarky remarks and giggled toward us. We felt singled out and marginalized, and my friend ended up buying an overpriced bottle of champagne just to ease the hostile atmosphere. The service no longer fits the luxury setting. This stay was the "nail in the coffin" for us, and we won't return. I hope management brings service in line with the luxury branding, because right now there's a major disconnect.

We loved the quiet, the endless views across Elia Beach, and the chance to relax under the stars with cocktails at sunset. Breakfast was another highlight, with fresh fruit, pastries, local cheeses, and dishes made to order. The pool and restaurant were beautiful too. We stayed in a swim-up room and could step straight into the water each morning, looking out over the Aegean Sea. It felt like pure luxury. The room combined a contemporary style with natural Mykonian touches, including stone textures and soft lighting. From the crisp linens to the high-end amenities, every detail felt considered. The staff made the whole stay feel easy, greeting us warmly, remembering little details, and anticipating what we needed. Every person seemed to take pride in making each guest's stay special. We left already dreaming about coming back. Myconian Utopia really does live up to its name if you're after great service, beautiful views, and a sense of calm to take home with you.

The food was delicious and original, with dishes for every taste and so much care in the details. Every bite felt like a burst of flavour. The rooms were clean, and the spaces were tidy and thoughtfully decorated for comfort. The design has all the amenities you need, while giving you the peace and relaxation you're looking for. Service across the hotel was smiling and polite, with everyone's attention on making sure you were satisfied. Thank you for the unique experience and a beautiful, unforgettable stay!
