Pension Afroditi

The rooftop view was stunning and the house was clean. Anthi was a great host, picking us up from the harbor and taking us back after the trip. The place is close to the center, and there are animals around, including a beautiful horse beside the rooms.

We could sit on the balcony in the morning and enjoy the view over Apollonia with coffee from the cupboard. The room was a one-bedroom studio with a small kitchen, and the balcony door had an insect screen, handy for letting in the breeze without inviting bugs inside. The bathroom was very clean, had hot water all the time, and came with shower gel, shampoo, and slippers. The kitchen had a fridge, an oven that we didn’t use, and a coffee maker. The owner was lovely and helped us find a cab and rent a car. They also lent us their iron so we could press clothes for a wedding. It’s a five-minute walk to Apollonia center and its many restaurants. If I remember right, there’s parking on the property for guests with a rental car. We really liked the place and would recommend it.

The studio was clean, with a roomy kitchen, and had a lovely view of Apollonia. It’s about a five-minute walk into town. The rooms were a bit noisy, though, and we could hear a boiler from the balcony. Still, it was a nice place to stay.
