The front desk and cleaning staff were courteous, proactive, and responsive. There are several restaurants in walking distance, a new convenience store two doors down, plus a pharmacy and tram stop nearby. There’s a small parking garage under the hotel, and street parking too. My room, 205, had a renovated bathroom and a little balcony facing the sea. The decor feels dark and dated, very 1980s, though the place seems to be in the middle of modernization. It was roomy, with plenty of closet space and a mini-fridge. The towels were thick and absorbent, the linens crisp, and the mattress comfortable. A funny plus, the towels came wrapped in plastic. It feels like an honestly run establishment that’s on its way up.

Victoria deserves four stars for her own efforts, always smiling and willing to go the extra mile for guests. The reception team were friendly and nice. This is a budget hotel suited to a short stay. The double room has a good bed and mattress, but not much space. The air conditioning worked well, and the TV worked too. BBC News was the only English channel; the rest were in Greek. The toilet is small but fine for the price, and toiletries were provided. The suite has more space and a pleasant round bed, so it’s the better option if available.

There were slippers and enough towels, and being able to request daily cleaning was handy. What bothered me was having to leave the room key at reception whenever I went out. The soundproofing was poor, and there wasn’t a kettle or even a glass in the room.

For a couple watching their budget in Athens, this was definitely worthwhile. The room was clean, and there are plenty of places nearby to eat since we skipped breakfast. Buses 40 or 5 get you to the Acropolis in about 30 minutes. Great value for the price.

The room was quiet at night, with comfortable beds, a huge bathroom, and a very large shower. Staff were polite and helpful, and there’s private parking. Late checkout is available for an extra charge. We found a couple of little issues in room 107: the shower head and mixer could use replacing, and the bed blocked half of one outlet. They didn’t affect our stay much. For the price and hotel category, it’s perfect. The room was very clean and renovated.
