Margarita Sea Side Hotel

The beach was great, and the hotel is right on it with free umbrellas. The staff were very polite and even helped us find a parking spot easily. Our room was very clean, and the towels were replaced every day. Breakfast was the one letdown: there wasn't much variety, and the black coffee wasn't good.

Everything else was perfect, but the coffee at breakfast was bad. They do have good cappuccino, though it was quite expensive at 5.5 Eur.

A crowded, noisy Kallithea Beach, especially on weekends and holidays, means privacy is limited. The hotel itself stands out for a distinctive guest-focused approach. Even though the area is busy, the facilities and staff are dedicated to hotel guests, and outside visitors can only use the restaurant after 7pm. There are plenty of staff for the number of guests, which brings a lot of attention and service. The good-quality sunbeds and umbrellas are cleaned each morning, and your spot stays yours for the whole visit, so there’s no morning scramble. The hotel is beautiful and sits right on the beach, with especially lovely interior design in the restaurant. Everything is maintained constantly, so it still looks new. The management knows about an unpleasant bathroom and balcony smell caused by sewage pipes, a problem found at many places in Greece, and is keen to fix it. I can fully recommend Margarita Sea Side if you want to experience its remarkable concept.

The beds were super comfortable, which mattered to me with my back problems. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of fresh fruit cut that morning, and the sunbeds were free. Right by the beach, the hotel was super quiet, relaxing, classy, and really high quality. It’s on the pricier side, but worth it. Best experience in all of Greece. We’ll definitely come back.
