The little pool is sheltered from the wind, so it was great for cooling off after we visited the archaeological site. It’s on the small side, though. The room itself was nice, but the soundproofing was poor, and you might be placed below the restaurant and breakfast room, which can disturb your sleep. I’d booked the wrong night by mistake, but since they had space, they let us stay without charging any extra fee.

We had trouble getting a shipment sent on to our next hotel, and the front desk staff were so kind and helpful. They sorted the whole thing out for us, and we really couldn’t have managed it without them. Thank you so much. It’s a family-run hotel with a lovely pool, plus a breakfast terrace with beautiful views.

A great spot for L'etape Greece, just 250m from the event. The hotel is right in town, so it’s handy if you want to leave the car behind and enjoy the center. Our room was clean, and breakfast on the roof came with a great view. The staff were really friendly too.

The check-in staff were rude, and dinner was a letdown. We came with a tour group, so the meal was included: the pasta was rubbery, the chicken tough, and the salad choices were just lettuce or coleslaw, with plain rice. The room had what we needed, but the bathroom was tiny, the shower leaked, and the towels smelled. A very disappointing stay.

The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast had lovely homemade pies and cakes. It’s a cosy, clean place in the center of Olympia, a small town with a rich heritage. The owners, passing the hotel from father to son, really know how to make guests feel Greek hospitality. The staff were kind and helpful. I’ll definitely return.
