Great central Oia location, right beside the bus terminal, and the sea view at sunrise was lovely. The kitchen was fully equipped and the fridge was full, new, and clean. The garbage was full. I felt bad for the young woman who was exhausted, had barely slept, and had to deal with drunk, rude guys shouting, playing loud music, and jumping around. With no check-in staff, self check-in, and a door that’s never locked, it was predictable that you wouldn’t know who was actually a guest. The restaurant waiters downstairs stare at you. The photos were taken a long time ago when the place was new, and that’s not how it is now. Oia is overpriced, and on such a small island it’s easy and convenient to take the bus for 2€. Smart people stay just a few hours. Not worth it at all, 0/5.

Diana, the owner, was very organized and sent all the details by email. The place was perfectly located and super clean, with fresh-smelling sheets that made it easy to relax. I even made new friends from Canada and Italy while staying there. Such a warm, lovely vibe. Highly recommended!
I cooked for myself every day without trouble. There’s a big kitchen and dining area, a small fridge, good sized lockers, and separate M/F bathrooms. The interior is small but aesthetic, and the sea view from the porch is nice. Staff were great too. Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s in a fantastic spot, right at the town bus station, so getting around is easy. The grocery store is steps away and there are restaurants all around. The first blue dome, in front of the classic Oia viewpoint, is a five minute walk. From there, all of Oia and its sights are within a 20 minute walk.
I was traveling solo and didn’t want to spend much on a bed in expensive Oia. This is the only hostel in town, and it helped keep costs down. It’s clean and well maintained, with eight beds, so there are never more than eight people total. I liked the size, since some hostels feel too crowded. The bus station is right next door, so you don’t have to lug your heavy bag very far. The staff were helpful and let me stay a few extra hours so I could leave at the right time for my ferry. I’d definitely recommend it to solo backpackers.
It’s right by the bus stop, looks modern and nice, and is one of the cheapest places in Oia. A few things to keep in mind: if you arrive before check-in, you can wait on the terrace at the sister accommodation, but sitting in the chairs or hammocks requires a 20€ consumption fee. There’s no reception or security, and the entrance door stays unlocked, so guests are responsible for using the key to lock it. My bedsheets hadn’t been changed and had hairs and stains on them. Was that a wet paper towel on the window floor?
