We stayed for quite a while, which we were told was unusual, and wouldn’t change a thing. The hotel is private and quiet, even though it’s very close to Oia and away from the crowds and noise. We had a partial sea room and asked for a hot-tub, which we got. It was perfect for the chilly evenings that time of year. The food was very special, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you want quiet luxury about a 5 minute walk from one of Santorini’s most pictoresque villages, with that famous sunset too.

They even spotted on the computer at the last minute that it was my birthday and brought out an amazing cake. From breakfast and the rooms to the massage, sauna, and pools, the service, attention to detail, and politeness were all wonderful. There’s also a369 view point at the hotel where we could watch the sunset without leaving our spot with everyone else.

This is probably the best resort in Santorini, and definitely the best place we’ve ever stayed. Just a short walk from Oia, it has stunning caldera and open sea views. The hotel feels like a little village, with a bar, restaurant, gym, SPA, and golf carts to get around. Our room felt like a private villa, with its own infinity pool and complete privacy. The pools, food, cocktails, and breakfast were all top-notch, and dining at sunset was unforgettable. The restaurant team made our evenings especially fun. Bruno, Elena, Yannis, and everyone else were polite, prompt, and prepared, and also just lovely people to laugh with. They gave us lots of tips on the island and what to see and do. We hope to find them there again if we return next year. The SPA staff were lovely too, and we enjoyed a massage there. On our last day, we found a gift in our room, a couple of tiny towels to remember our honeymoon, which we appreciated very much. The staff made us feel at home, adding real warmth to a luxury stay. We found the area around Santo Mine really calm and quiet, and there’s a path to Oia just a short walk away. The suite was beautifully designed, with amazing sunset views from the room. They welcomed us with fresh fruit and wine, a special touch. Staff also used a golf cart to take our bags to the room and came to collect them when we checked out.

My partner and I have never felt so safe and cared for on a trip. I became seriously ill while we were vacationing in Greece, and the team at Santo Mine did everything they could to help, including calling a doctor who came to our room to look after me. From the moment we arrived, the staff, property, and views were exceptional. It’s the nicest resort we’ve stayed at, and we can’t wait to return.
